FOUND POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL LOOSE. ABS CONNECTOR LOOKED OK WITH NO EVIDENCE OF CORROSION. REINSTALLED REMOVED COMPONENTS AND TEST DROVE. NO WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON. SCANNED FOR CODES AND FOUND A CODE FOR LOSS OF COMMUNICATION WITH TELEMATICS CONTROL UNIT. ACCESSED TCU IN LEFT SIDE OF TRUNK AND FOUND THAT TRUNK LINER HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY REMOVED ON THAT SIDE. FOUND CONNECTOR FOR TCU NOT COMPLETELY SEATED. DISCONNECTED AND RECONNECTED TCU PLUG AND CLEARED CODES. CODE DID NOT RETURN. TEST DROVE VEHICLE AND AGAIN WARNING LIGHTS DID NOT COME ON. TRANSMISSION HAS A HARSH SHIFT WHEN DRIVING, NO CODES STORED IN TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE.
    • PERFORMED TRANSMISSION SHIFT ADAPTIVES RESET PROCEDURE. TEST DROVE VEHICLE UNDER CONDITIONS FOR ADAPTIVES LEARNING AND SHIFT PATTERNS IMPROVED. POSSIBLE THAT TRANSMISSION MAY STILL HAVE ISSUES BUT RECOMMEND CUSTOMER DRIVING VEHICLE FOR A WHILE TO SEE IF CONDITION WORSENS.
